Training and Qualifications:

Trained with About Families, Inc. in Indio, California by Joanna Whitlow and Aisha Hendricks in the essentials of providing a well-rounded body of support from the desire to become pregnant, throughout pregnancy, labor and birth. 

Trained with Emma Moreland in Spinning Babies techniques, Daily Activities coaching and more in continuing education program at Desert Regional hospital. 

Trained with Kim Funkey and Laurel Hargrave at Power Yoga Palm Springs in the 200-Hour Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher Training. Including extensive training in yoga postures, sequencing, the spiritual roots of asana practice and extensive anatomy and physiology of yoga. Daisy has taught over 250 hours of in-person yoga since completing her certification.

Trained at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California. The 1000-Hour course covered both Eastern and Western massage modalities including in-depth instruction and sequencing for Shiatsu and Swedish Massage Therapy. The curriculum included extensive anatomy instruction as well as communication training in evaluation of client's needs and direction of therapy. 

Trained and taught with The Welcomed Consensus for 17 years in sensuality and pleasurable living through enhanced sense awareness and self-understanding, communication for clarity and nutritious and healthy food preparation and eating. 

Trained, studied and taught at The Lama Foundation in Northern New Mexico for 4 years in consensus based communication, spirituality and honoring inner guidance and spiritual practice as well as non-reactive listening to provide witness and emotional support.

Doula services are often not covered by typical health insurance however I now accept Medi-Cal and insurance through IEHP. I am an approved Medi-Cal and IEHP Provider for Doula services. Speak to me about Medi-Cal and IEHP health plans which cover most doula services.
